K-pop star Goo Hara was found dead in South Korea just months after an apparent suicide attempt, according to a report.
The 28-year-old singer’s body was discovered Sunday at her Seoul home, though her cause of death remains unclear, Variety reported.
Goo rose to fame in 2008 as a member of the girl group Hara and later launched a solo music career, the outlet reported.
She allegedly attempted to commit suicide in March after an ex-boyfriend threatened to release a sex tape, according to the report.
The musician shared a photo of herself in bed on Instagram on Saturday, telling her 1.5 million followers, “Good night,” in what was her final post.
Goo is the lastest in a string of young K-pop stars to die in recent months, including her friend Sulli who was found dead last month at age 25.
